We will be discussing how the Mainstreaming Nature-based Solutions to Deliver Greater Value (MNbS) programme has been developing a value framework decision-support tool. It enables the assessment of different forms of value to ensure that broader impacts and opportunities, beyond financial capital implications, are accounted for in decision-making. As such it can help promote nature-based or societally beneficial solutions – enabling more sustainable, best-value investments and help organisations capture, realise and communicate wider value, to achieve enhanced sustainable outcomes.

Join panellists Luke McLaughlin (United Utilities) and Rob Cunnigham (The Nature Conservancy), along with Chair Louise Ellis (Arup) as we introduce the MNbS programme and the Value Framework before breaking into a discussion around this framework’s role both within the water industry and potential within the wider catchment and planning landscape.
